The plight of pet trade reptiles and exotic animals is often underestimated. They are commonly mistreated and abandoned because they are marketed as low-maintenance beginner pets. When owners realize the actual commitment required, these pets are discarded.

All of our rescued reptiles were surrendered under various circumstances, but here at B.A.R.N.S., they are guaranteed a permanent, safe space to thrive for the rest of their natural lives.
